Yesterday afternoon, residents in Greenview were host of a surprise visitor of the porcine kind.
Never before had a pig been seen wandering around Brickford, and its mystery arrival caused a stir when it was found munching its way through the garden of 7 year old Justin Trouble.
It is believed that the pig escaped from an abattoir some 8 miles away in Bacon Bagel, although it is not known for certain as it bears no tag.
The pig, nicknamed ‘Porky’, has been captured by a local vet, and is temporarily being kept at Brookview Farm.
